"Where's the best place to do your kind of dancing?"
 

and, for the past 5+ years, our answer (only partly in jest) has been...

"Toronto, Detroit or the Carolinas!"
 

This exchange is usually followed immediately by...

"Yeah, but I mean where's the best place right here in London?"
 

to which our serious answer has long been ...

"our basement!"... the only place in London we can count on, where

• the dancefloor is clean, and the room well-ventilated,
• we don't have to avoid drinks or lit cigarettes while dancing,
• there are no tables/serving areas on the dance floor,
• the music is PERFECT!! ...and starts before 10pm!! :-)
